So, I’ve watched a lot of movies. I’m kind of a fanboy for movies in general, in part because I pretty much never watch TV shows. At this point I’ve watched something like 3 or 4000 movies. Point being, I’ve seen a lot, so if you happen to have tastes remotely similar to mine, then this post might be useful for you. (As far as my tastes, the banner above is a starting clue, Star Wars is clearly the greatest movie ever made, period.)
I started rating every movie I watched about 20 years ago, and included some memorable movies from before that time. I rate on a 0 to 5 star system. So here is my list of FIVE star movies of awesomeness, as of Mar 13, 2025. Note that movie titles that have an
